Meet the team

Ken Angus

Ken qualified from Pinderfields College of Remedial Gymnastics and Recreational Therapy, West Yorkshire, in 1982 and began Clinical practice at Burnley General Hospital, where he remained for six years.

In 1988, Ken and his family emigrated to Australia and after a short time in Castlemaine, moved to Frankston, where Ken became the Deputy Chief Physiotherapist at Frankston Hospital. There he continued in a teaching and examining role, and shortly after began in part time Private Practice. He went full time in 1991 and was invited to be a consulting Physiotherapist at Peninsula Private Hospital, a role held for 9 years. He continues in his Clinical role at PhysioChoice Frankston and is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for consultation. Dry needling is one of the modalities he uses to treat patients.

Ken considers it a privilege to have patients choose him to diagnose and treat their injuries, particularly, when they learn how to self manage their condition.

Yannick Chani

Yannick graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Queensland. During his course he conducted research on the Influence of Motor Imagery on Mobility and Balance in the Elderly Population, which since has been published in the Journal of Physiotherapy. Yannick is a Dance Medicine Australia accredited Physiotherapist. He has also completed world renowned GLA:D certification which focuses on Osteoarthritis and exercise. In addition, dry needling is a modality used to treat his patients.

Yannick has an interest in all injuries, strength and conditioning and the required rehabilitation to return patients to their respective sports. Yannick was previously a Personal Trainer for 10 years and is able to use his expertise in exercise and physiotherapy to achieve the goals of his patients in a more holistic approach. In his spare time, Yannick enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and heading down to the coast.
