Aspendale Gardens is one of PhysioChoice’s newest practices. The practise is located in the Aspendale Gardens Shopping Centre, Shop 11, Narelle Drive. The practice features four modern private consultation rooms as well as a spacious clinical Pilates studio, which you can learn more about on our PilatesChoice website.

PhysioChoice Aspendale Gardens provides a variety of services to help you feel your best self, including:

    • Physiotherapy: comprehensive treatment and management of all physical conditions
    • Clinical Pilates: as part of physical injury management or for fitness/strength/injury prevention

To see one of our numerous physiotherapists or massage therapists, you do not need a referral (except for DVA and Medicare EPC), and it is claimable on Private Health Insurance (if covered as an extra), with prices reduced as low as possible. We also offer all Worksafe injuries, TAC injuries, and Medicare (EPC) referrals at no extra cost.

Mounisha Ramdin-Etwari



Mounisha was born and raised in Mauritius. She studied at the University of Cape Town, South Africa where she obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Mounisha moved to Australia in July 2015 with her husband.

As a Physiotherapist, Mounisha has an interest in Musculoskeletal, Neuro, dry needling and Pilates. She has a particular interest in hip/knee replacements and in children with developmental delays.

Coming from an island, Mounisha particularly enjoys the beach and loves hiking and bike riding.

Raj Vanar



Raj is a Monash University graduate with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). As a soccer fan and martial arts enthusiast, his interests lie in treating musculoskeletal injuries and orthopaedics, as most of the injuries he has seen are lower limb injuries. Arsenal FC is Raj’s soccer team of choice, and has previously done kickboxing and karate.

Jess Johnston



Jess attended Latrobe University and is currently holding both a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Her fields of interest involve women’s health (specifically pregnancy and related issues) and sports rehab, with an emphasis on treating ACL injuries.

Outside of work, Jess is a sports enthusiast, namely playing women’s football (having played for Seaford for five years) and soccer.


TJ Deshmukh



TJ completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in India before relocating to Adelaide to pursue her studies further at the University of South Australia. She obtained her degree in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2015.

TJ’s interests lie in pre- and post-operative rehab, along with post-surgical rehab, and treating hamstring and knee injuries. She is looking forward to working in a team environment alongside the Aspendale Gardens physios.

Outside of work, TJ describes herself as a ‘total nature girl’ with a love of hiking; she also enjoys sport and travel.

Petra Ruhl



Petra graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She is also qualified as a Level 1 Sports Trainer.
Petra’s interests lie in treating musculoskeletal injuries, beck and neck pain, and sports injuries (especially running related). Clinical Pilates is also an interest of hers; her focus is to help patients get better, return to work/sport, and become active once again.
Outside of work Petra enjoys netball, running, cycling and swimming, hiking and kayaking.
