PhysioChoice Altona is a privately owned and operated, full-service physiotherapy practice located at 87 Pier St in close proximity to the Altona train station. For over 15 years, PhysioChoice Altona has provided high-quality services, and our physiotherapists and massage therapist will work with you to reduce pain from injury or condition.

Our services are not limited to just one type of therapy – these include:

We take pleasure in being able to accommodate everyone at PhysioChoice. We have a large list of qualified physiotherapists and massage therapists available, so no matter what your injury or condition is, you will be able to find someone passionate about achieving your physiotherapy goals.

You do not need a referral (except for DVA and Medicare EPC) to see one of our physiotherapists or massage therapists, and your appointment can be claimable on Private Health Insurance (if covered as an extra), with rates kept as low as possible. We also offer all WorkSafe injuries, TAC injuries, and Medicare (EPC) referrals at no extra cost.

Chi Tung



Chi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. Chi has also completed a post graduate certificate in Pain Science and Theory with the University of South Australia.

His clinical interests are in chronic pain and return-to-work rehabilitation.

Chi regularly goes to the gym and swims in his spare time to keep fit, and is a camping and hiking enthusiast. Chi comes from a Hong Kong background and can speak fluent Cantonese.

Ian Stanley



Ian obtained his Physiology and Health Science Degree from the Institute of Technology in Carlow, Ireland, as well as his Bachelors of Science in  Physiotherapy from the Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.

Ian has a special interest in neck and back injuries, exercise prescription and advice, and finding the root of the problem and treating it with manual therapy.

Ian is originally from Ireland, and moved to Melbourne to grow his life experiences. He has a major interest in sport, especially in Rugby and Golf. In Ian's free time, he enjoys hiking, ocean swimming, being out in the sunshine and hanging out with his friends.

Chodron Kho



Chodron obtained her Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in December 2021. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine with a major in Immunology at the University of Melbourne.

Chodron's clinical interests include aquatic physiotherapy, sports medicine, and back pain, as well as assisting patients in getting better and returning to activities they enjoy or simply exploring new possibilities.

From Malaysia, Chodron is fluent in Chinese. Outside of the practice, Chodron enjoys swimming, reading books, and listen to music with a passion for spending time with her family or going on day trips.

Sylvie Skonietzky

Occupational Health Assessor


Sylvie has been employed with PhysioChoice Altona for 6 years originally only providing remedial massage services and later obtaining a Bachelor of Exercise Science, she has expanded her services to predominately provide Occupational Health Services including pre-employment assessments and Drug and Alcohol testing in our private practice setting or onsite assessments by appointment.

Sylvie holds qualifications in exercise science, drug and alcohol testing, ortho-bionomy, joint mobilisation, lymphatic drainage, remedial massage, myofascial cupping and pregnancy massage.

Sylvie is an avid bike rider and enjoys exploring around Melbourne with family and friends.

Sylvie’s advice for beginning your day is to begin with 4 basic stretches – “take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live in”.
