Since the inception of PhysioChoice in 1994, we've had one simple philosophy:

As a result, we have grown to become the largest privately-owned physiotherapy company in Australia with 66 practices spanning across all of Australia.
Paul Hill
CEOPaul began his career as a physiotherapist in 1994 with Morwell Physiotherapy under the mentorship of Alan Yates. Just a year into his career, Paul became a partner in Morwell Physiotherapy and soon after founded Gippsland Physiotherapy Group.
Throughout the late 1990s, Paul pursued his vision of establishing a premier physiotherapy business dedicated to delivering high-quality services to regional Victoria. In the early 2000s, this vision evolved into PhysioChoice, which has since expanded to over 65 locations and continues to grow.
As CEO, Paul is a hands-on leader involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring that PhysioChoice maintains its reputation for excellence and innovation. Paul's approach to leadership is deeply rooted in his commitment to providing exceptional client care and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. He leverages his extensive experience and expertise to drive the company's strategic initiatives, focusing on expanding access to top-tier physiotherapy services across Australia.
Under his guidance, PhysioChoice has embraced technological advancements and implemented best practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes. Prue Hill
COOPrue is a dynamic and accomplished professional serving as the Chief Operations Officer at PhysioChoice.
With a career dedicated to excellence in healthcare management, Prue's journey began with a clear vision: to enhance patient care through efficient, compassionate service delivery.
At PhysioChoice, she has been instrumental in scaling the business into one of Australia's largest privately owned physiotherapy networks. Her expertise in operational management has driven significant improvements in service quality, client satisfaction, and overall business growth.
Prue embraces cutting-edge technologies and automation, streamlining processes to ensure a seamless patient experience. Her approach is always patient-centric, ensuring that every innovation and change ultimately benefits those seeking care.
In addition to her role at PhysioChoice, Prue is one of the passionate founders of CorporateChoice Healthcare, a branch focused on delivering tailored healthcare solutions to corporate clients.
Her strategic vision has expanded the company's reach, providing comprehensive healthcare services that promote employee well-being and productivity.
Alan Yates
Director / PhysiotherapistAlan started private practice in Morwell circa 1986 and has been with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group since. He has completed many professional development courses over the years, including Level 1 and 2 Sports, Level 1 and 2 Spinal, Level 1 and 2 Dry Needling, Pilates, Lymphedema, Hydrotherapy and many more, lending to his wealth of experience. Alan uses his wide range of skills to assess and treat to his utmost capacity with the aim to return clients to as close as possible to their pre-injury function level. He is interested in all musculoskeletal conditions and enjoys working in the sports injury area.Bob Wong
Director / PhysiotherapistOriginally from Perth, Bob completed his undergraduate Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University before moving to Victoria to work at PhysioChoice. In 2016, Bob completed his Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy through Griffith University and is now recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) as a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Bob has extensive physiotherapy experience in treating a wide range of sporting injuries in athletes of all ages, as well as treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He has worked with athletes at an elite level including those who have competed at both Olympic and national levels. He has provided physiotherapy services for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Queensland Academy of Sport, Netball Victoria and the Gold Coast Titans, as well as multiple other regional and local football and netball teams. He has also developed a particular interest in occupational health, shoulder and spinal pain. Dry needling is one of his areas of expertise. In his spare time, Bob enjoys playing squash and golf, watching Formula 1 racing, supporting the Fremantle Dockers and is a busy foster dad to five beautiful little children.Brittany Romas
Director / PhysiotherapistBrittany holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. Brittany has a strong interest in working with athletes and active members of the population to help them manage injuries around their training, Brittany has very specific knowledge and skills in strength development and enjoys working with powerlifters and athletes who integrate strength training with their athletic development. She has spent time in South East Asia working with paediatric patients with a large range of neurological disorders and has developed a keen interest in providing disability support in conjunction with the NDIS. Brittany prides herself on her diagnostic abilities, and she believes in a holistic approach to her client’s rehabilitation. She does offer Hydrotherapy, Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates. Brittany is currently the Under 69kg Women's Australia Powerlifting Champion and represented Australia in the 2023 IPF World Championships in Malta and the 2024 IPF World Championships in Lithuania. Brittany most recently won the prestigious inaugural SBD Australia Cup, a highly anticipated event which attracts the best athletes in Australia. In 2025 Brittany became a Director if PhysioChoice.Daniel Stevenson
Director / PhysiotherapistDaniel has been the physio in residence at Gippsland Physiotherapy Group Cowes since 2014. Daniel’s professional areas of interest include neck and back injuries, neurological conditions and rehabilitation; dry needling is also one of his fields of expertise. Daniel is also thrilled to offer Clinical Pilates sessions with our PilatesChoice studio at our new site. Having our purpose-built studio can now allow Daniel to offer individualised programs tailored to suit all life stages and personal goals.Henry-George Emery
Director / PhysiotherapistHenry obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago. His areas of professional interest include lower back and neck pain including headache treatment and management. He also has a keen interest in biomechanical abnormalities in the lower limb and how they affect the hip, knee and foot. Dry needling is one of his areas of expertise. Since moving to Australia Henry has jumped right into AFL and has always had a keen interest in cricket, especially when the Black Caps are beating Australia.James Ingeri
Director / PhysiotherapistJames holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from ACU. His is experienced and enjoys working with his patients in the management of chronic pain. James provides many modalities in his treatments that include Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates for rehabilitation. Jimmy, as he is commonly known to his clients, works with all varieties of musculoskeletal injuries and tailors his assessment, management and treatment to his patients’ goals. James has also undertaken additional training in sports injuries and shoulder injury management.Jayd Djakovic
Director / PhysiotherapistJayd graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong. He then completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2018. During his undergraduate degree, he undertook a three-year load management and strength and conditioning internship with the 1st grade NRL team, the St George Illawarra Dragons. Since joining the team at the end of 2018, he has developed a keen interest in sports-related and general injuries – treating various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Jayd has undertaken further study, completing his NRL level 1 Sports Trainer qualification with the Thirroul Butchers rugby league club. He has also completed his work cover training, gaining certification earlier this year. Jayd thoroughly enjoys playing soccer on his weekends and understands patients’ return to activity goals and the importance of remaining injury-free. He attends the gym regularly, and most afternoons, he can be found taking his best friend (his dog) for a run after work.Leigh Dunstan
Director / PhysiotherapistLeigh brings a wealth of experience to PhysioChoice, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences & Masters in Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. He also has a background in exercise science, having completed another Bachelor degree at RMIT University. Leigh is an avid believer in continued professional development and has completed several post-graduate courses in rehabilitation. He is also a clinical mentor for new graduate Physiotherapists. Leigh has extensive experience in the musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy sector; he has been a Physiotherapist for the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre, Mulgrave FC and Bendigo South FNC. As his career has progressed, Leigh has also developed a keen interest in Corporate Health, having an association with various companies as an onsite Physiotherapist to drive prevention of injuries and assist in changing processes for a safer workplace. Dry needling is one of Leigh’s areas of expertise. Leigh is an avid sports fan, particularly in AFL and Tennis.Mark Alcock
Director / PhysiotherapistMark joined PhysioChoice in 2014 after graduating from Otago University in New Zealand. In 2016, he became a director of PhysioChoice and now serves as the clinic manager in Warragul. Mark has a strong interest in sports injuries and completed his Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2020. His passion for sport has seen him work with Tennis Australia at the AGL Loy Yang ITF Junior Tennis Tournament in Traralgon, as well as with local football, netball, and soccer clubs. While Mark is experienced in treating injuries, he is equally dedicated to preventing them – identifying potential issues early and addressing them before they develop into more serious problems. He is trained in dry-needling and is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest physiotherapy research to ensure he provides the highest standard of care to clients from all walks of life. Mark lives locally with his wife and three young boys and enjoys being part of the Warragul community. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, golfing, and watching sports.Neil Synnott
Director / PhysiotherapistNeil has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Bachelor of Exercise Science, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), and is able to provide physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Services to his clients. Neil’s areas of professional interest include lower back, hip and pelvis injuries, chronic cervical, shoulder and upper limb injuries, and exercise for health / injury prevention. Neil also conducts Pilates sessions.Rob Brownlow
Director / Musculoskeletal PhysiotherapistRob is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University and further advanced his diagnostic expertise with a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Latrobe University in 2024. Rob is the Head of Physiotherapy Clinical Development for our company, dedicated to enhancing the professional growth of our physiotherapists around Australia. He plays a key role in delivering our renowned Physiotherapy Development Program, frequently traveling interstate. Rob brings a wealth of experience from his involvement in national and international sporting events, including the 2022 Birmingham and 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, the 2017–2020 Gymnastics World Cups, and the IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championships. He has collaborated with organizations such as the Commonwealth Games Federation, International Basketball Federation (Oceania Region), NSW Basketball, VIC Netball, VIC Softball, and Women’s VFL. With extensive experience in managing sport and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as injuries stemming from severe trauma, Rob is highly skilled in treating complex cases and optimizing recovery for athletes at all levels.
