PhysioChoice Mulgrave has provided high quality physiotherapy and clinical Pilates services for the past 12 years with a total practice history of over 30 years.

The practice features three consultation rooms and a Pilates studio room.

    • PhysioChoice Mulgrave have partnered with Dandenong Oasis to offer physio directed hydrotherapy services. Dandenong Oasis provides programs and services for the whole community. Their child care provides options for parents especially during hydrotherapy classes. The Hydrotherapy pool is a warm-water pool (usually at a temperature of 35°C-37°C), that is warmer than other normal heated swimming pools. PhysioChoice hire out the hydrotherapy pool on various weekdays.

Meet the team


Leigh Dunstan (Director)

Leigh brings a wealth of experience to PhysioChoice Mulgrave & Dandenong, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences & Masters in Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, in 2013. He also has a background in Exercise Science, having completed another Bachelor degree at RMIT University in 2008.

Leigh is an avid believer in continued professional development and has completed several post-graduate courses in rehabilitation. He is also a clinical mentor for new graduate Physiotherapists.

Leigh has extensive experience in the musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy sector; he has been a Physiotherapist for the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre, Mulgrave FC and Bendigo South FNC.

As his career has progressed, Leigh has also developed a keen interest in Corporate Health, having an association with various companies as an onsite Physiotherapist to drive prevention of injuries and assist in changing processes for a safer workplace. Dry needling is one of Leigh’s areas of expertise.
Leigh is based at our Mulgrave practice on Monday & Wednesday and our Dandenong practice on Tuesday & Thursday, throughout 2020.

Leigh is an avid sports fan, particularly in AFL and Tennis.

Yannick Chani

Yannick graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Queensland. During his course he conducted research on the Influence of Motor Imagery on Mobility and Balance in the Elderly Population, which since has been published in the Journal of Physiotherapy. Yannick is a Dance Medicine Australia accredited Physiotherapist. He has also completed world renowned GLA:D certification which focuses on Osteoarthritis and exercise.

Yannick has an interest in all injuries, strength and conditioning and the required rehabilitation to return patients to their respective sports. Yannick was previously a Personal Trainer for 10 years and is able to use his expertise in exercise and physiotherapy to achieve the goals of his patients in a more holistic approach. In his spare time, Yannick enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and heading down to the coast.

Thomas Veitch

Thomas joins us as an experienced physiotherapist; his focus is on connecting with clients on a one-to-one basis. He has obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. Thomas’ areas of interest lie in hydrotherapy and sports physiotherapy, which dovetails with his love of AFL and American basketball.

Thomas had been previously placed at Angliss Hospital as part of his university studies, and later at a private practice in South Yarra. In both instances Thomas observed the assessment and treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions. He is hoping to further investigate this as a post-graduate field of study, while teaching students and new university graduates.
