We have qualified Physiotherapists meeting your expectations through:
Melissa Telfer Melissa holds an Associate of Science Degree from North Texas College and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and Pre-Med from Alabama State University in the United States. Upon returning to Australia, she completed a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University. As a keen tennis player, Melissa was fortunate to study in America on a Tennis Scholarship and is still a competitive player to this day. As such she has a very strong interest in shoulder related injuries and return to sports rehabilitation programs. Dry needling is one of her areas of expertise. Melissa also enjoys working with paediatric and NDIS clientele in both neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
Aimee Whelan Aimee graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. During her studies, she developed a clinical guide to help physiotherapists diagnose and treat a variety of vertigo related conditions including BPPV and therefore has extensive knowledge on the topic. Aimee’s areas of special interest include lower back, shoulder and knee injuries, clinical Pilates and vertigo related conditions. She is a dedicated football fan and player, following both AFL and AFLW, and has worked with several local sporting clubs (football, soccer and netball) in the past. Aimee enjoys really getting to know clients of all ages to fully understand how important their goals are to them, whether that be returning to sport, reducing pain and/or improving their health and wellbeing. She uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription during her consults to provide the best treatment plan for a client’s goal.
