Meet the team

Physiotherapists

Leigh Dunstan (Director)

Leigh brings a wealth of experience to PhysioChoice Mulgrave & Dandenong, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences & Masters in Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, in 2013. He also has a background in Exercise Science, having completed another Bachelor degree at RMIT University in 2008.

Leigh is an avid believer in continued professional development and has completed several post-graduate courses in rehabilitation. He is also a clinical mentor for new graduate Physiotherapists.

Leigh has extensive experience in the musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy sector; he has been a Physiotherapist for the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre, Mulgrave FC and Bendigo South FNC.

As his career has progressed, Leigh has also developed a keen interest in Corporate Health, having an association with various companies as an onsite Physiotherapist to drive prevention of injuries and assist in changing processes for a safer workplace. Dry needling is one of his areas of expertise.
Leigh is based at our Mulgrave practice on Monday & Wednesday and our Dandenong practice on Tuesday & Thursday, throughout 2020.

Leigh is an avid sports fan, particularly in AFL and Tennis.

Leandro Hernandez

Leandro graduated from the University of Salvador, Argentina, as a qualified physiotherapist in 2010. He is a native Spanish speaker.

Leandro’s special interests lie in the in treatment of back and neck pain, along with sports injuries. He enjoys helping his clients achieve their fitness goals and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. Dry needling is one of his areas of expertise.

Outside of work Leandro spends time with his family, and playing sports (soccer or tennis) on a weekly basis. Weekends sees Leandro firing up the BBQ for some Argentinian-style cooking.
