PhysioChoice Altona has provided high quality physiotherapy, massage therapy and clinical Pilates services for the past 10 years.


You’ll find our practice conveniently situated at 87 Pier Street, around the corner from Altona railway station.


The practice features three consultation rooms and a Pilates studio.

Meet the team


Rebecca Mann

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.

Rebecca has strong interests in Musculoskeletal (in particular shoulder and knee injuries), Orthopaedics, and Sports Physiotherapy.

Rebecca is a world class Kayaker and has represented Australia in world championships on several occasions in both sprint and marathon disciplines.

Chi Tung

Chi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. He is interested in helping clients with chronic pain and return-to-work rehabilitation.

Chi regularly goes to the gym and swims in his spare time to keep fit, and is a camping and hiking enthusiast. Chi comes from a Hong Kong background but grew up in Australia, and can speak fluent Cantonese.

Fu Kok Nip

Nip brings a unique skill set to Altona; with his language skills, he can do consultation not only in English, but also in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Having completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Human Movement Science from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University, he has extended knowledge in exercise prescription and rehabilitation.

Nip has completed more than 400 hours of clinical training in different settings included but not limited to the Intensive Care Unit in Wollongong Hospital, the Acute Stroke Rehab Unit in Nepean Hospital and Community Rehab Center in Wodonga Hospital. With this diverse experience, he can provide well-rounded care for your musculoskeletal conditions.

Nip is an enthusiastic soccer fan and he won’t be shy to share his love for the Chelsea Football Club to everyone. You may find him playing for one of the local clubs on the weekends too!

Occupational Health Assessor

Sylvie Skonietzky

Sylvie has been employed with PhysioChoice Altona for 6 years originally only providing remedial massage services and later obtaining a Bachelor of Exercise Science, she has expanded her services to predominately provide Occupational Health Services including pre-employment assessments and Drug and Alcohol testing in our private practice setting or onsite assessments by appointment.

Sylvie holds qualifications in exercise science, drug and alcohol testing, ortho-bionomy, joint mobilisation, lymphatic drainage, remedial massage, myofascial cupping and pregnancy massage.

Sylvie is an avid bike rider and enjoys exploring around Melbourne with family and friends.

Sylvie’s advice for beginning your day is to begin with 4 basic stretches – “take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live in”.
