As a former patient of the Albany Creek practice (when it was formerly trading as Action Physiotherapy), Kat enjoyed the friendly, yet professional, atmosphere demonstrated by the staff; when the opportunity arose to work at PhysioChoice Albany Creek, Kat seized the opportunity as best she could.
Her professional interests lie in treating lower back pain and in assisting with post-operative recovery. This stems from a workplace injury she sustained in 2008, involving a torn intervertebral disc, which was treated by Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion in 2011; this involved inserting a plate, 4 screws and a cage holding her L5 and S1 vertebrae in place.
Kat has multiple interests outside of work, including (but not limited to) watching cricket, raising plants, science fiction and fantasy, PC gaming, nature documentaries and spending time with her nephew Xavier.
