Sylvie Skonietzky- Occupational Health Assessor
Sylvie has been employed with PhysioChoice Altona for 6 years originally only providing remedial massage services and later obtaining a Bachelor of Exercise Science, she has expanded her services to predominately provide Occupational Health Services including pre-employment assessments and Drug and Alcohol testing in our private practice setting or onsite assessments by appointment.
Sylvie holds qualifications in exercise science, drug and alcohol testing, ortho-bionomy, joint mobilisation, lymphatic drainage, remedial massage, myofascial cupping and pregnancy massage.
Sylvie is an avid bike rider and enjoys exploring around Melbourne with family and friends.
Sylvie’s advice for beginning your day is to begin with 4 basic stretches – “take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live in”.
Sean Koay – Physiotherapist
Sean graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. He currently works in both private practice and in aged care, with a focus around the musculoskeletal and geriatric population. Sean has a keen interest in chronic low back pain (LBP), having assisted researchers in developing education videos for individuals with this injury. This has enabled him to effectively educate and guide those clients towards reaching their goals.
Sean is continually developing his own professional skills, completing additional training in; Clinical Pilates (APPI), Dry Needling, Shoulder Injuries, and Hip and Groin Injuries.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys playing badminton, swimming, going to the gym, and exploring the great outdoors.
Claire Trainor – Physiotherapist
Claire qualified with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Northumbria University, United Kingdom. She enjoys working in a range of physiotherapy areas but in particular musculoskeletal and aged care. Claire also enjoys working in clinical Pilates and exercise rehabilitation. Claire likes to keep fit and is embracing everything Australia has to offer.
Kunle Ogundana – Physiotherapist
Kunle obtained his Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy at Western Sydney University. He has special interests in sports physiotherapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Kunle is a big football (soccer) fan, he enjoys spending his leisure times with family and friends. He is a fitness enthusiast and uses the gym very regularly. He has other hobbies which include, playing video games when he has some free time, outdoor activities such as going bushwalking and going to the beach. He also enjoys watching the latest movies or any interesting documentaries.
Soraya Bejar – Administration
Soraya joined PhysioChoice in an Administration role at PhysioChoice Altona in April 2015.
Soraya comes to the organisation with many years of experience in similar roles. Soraya is a keen scapbooker and enjoys researching her genealogy.
