Sylvie Skonietzky- Occupational Health Assessor

Sylvie has been employed with PhysioChoice Altona for 6 years originally only providing remedial massage services and later obtaining a Bachelor of Exercise Science, she has expanded her services to predominately provide Occupational Health Services including pre-employment assessments and Drug and Alcohol testing in our private practice setting or onsite assessments by appointment.

Sylvie holds qualifications in exercise science, drug and alcohol testing, ortho-bionomy, joint mobilisation, lymphatic drainage, remedial massage, myofascial cupping and pregnancy massage.

Sylvie is an avid bike rider and enjoys exploring around Melbourne with family and friends.

Sylvie’s advice for beginning your day is to begin with 4 basic stretches – “take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live in”.



Namita Thakur – Physiotherapist

Namita holds a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Mahashtra University of Health Science in India.

Namita has a special interest in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injuries. She’s passionate about helping patients achieve their goals for better movement and strength.

Namita loves to explore different countries and their cultures. She loves to indulge herself into music during her spare time. Meditation and long walks are her favourite forms of relaxation.




Nachu Nachiappan – Physiotherapist

Nachu holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice from Latrobe University in Bendigo.

Nachu has a strong interest in the management of orthopaedic injuries, spinal and chronic conditions, utilising a combination of exercise prescription and manual therapy. She is passionate about providing clinical Pilates and dry needling for the management of acute and chronic conditions.

Nachu enjoys keeping herself fit and healthy, jogging around Albert Park Lake. She enjoys playing social badminton, listening to podcasts and spending time with her family. Nachu’s a Henna artist and she also runs various fundraising events in the community.




Chi Tung – Physiotherapist

Chi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. He is interested in helping clients with chronic pain and return-to-work rehabilitation.

Chi regularly goes to the gym and swims in his spare time to keep fit, and is a camping and hiking enthusiast. Chi comes from a Hong Kong background but grew up in Australia, and can speak fluent Cantonese.





Kunle Ogundana – Physiotherapist

Kunle obtained his Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy at Western Sydney University. He has special interests in sports physiotherapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Kunle is a big football (soccer) fan, he enjoys spending his leisure times with family and friends. He is a fitness enthusiast and uses the gym very regularly. He has other hobbies which include, playing video games when he has some free time, outdoor activities such as going bushwalking and going to the beach. He also enjoys watching the latest movies or any interesting documentaries.
